End user license agreement
Effective September 21, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Apex CAS & Consulting ("Apex") for using the Apex portal and its connection to QuickBooks Online (together, "the app"). By connecting QuickBooks or using the app, you agree to them.
What the app does
The app reads reports from your QuickBooks Online company and turns them into a short financial dashboard for your organization. It only reads. It never creates, changes, or deletes anything in QuickBooks.
Your license
Apex gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own organization's internal business. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, or try to reach data that is not yours.
Your responsibilities
- Only connect a QuickBooks company you are allowed to connect.
- Keep your sign-in details private, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used them.
- Tell us when someone should no longer have access to your dashboard.
Your data
Your data stays yours. How we collect, use, protect, keep, and delete it is described in our privacy policy. Your QuickBooks data is never sent to an artificial intelligence service.
About the numbers
The dashboard shows numbers taken from your QuickBooks books. They are only as accurate as the books they come from. The dashboard is a summary to support decisions. On its own, it is not tax, legal, or audit advice.
Disconnecting and ending this agreement
You can disconnect the app at any time, from the portal or from the Apps area of QuickBooks. Apex can end your access if these terms are broken or when our work together ends. When access ends, your data is handled as the privacy policy describes.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, Apex makes no promises that it will always be available or free of errors.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Apex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, from using the app. Apex's total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid Apex for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
QuickBooks
QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc. The app is made by Apex, not by Intuit, and Intuit is not responsible for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms.
